~I'm going to try it~

I know you've seen them before.
I think everyone except me has made one.
So today I am on a mission.
I am going to make me one of these gorgeous paper book wreaths!

This gorgeous one hangs in this lady's entry.

And I love this one! How clever to hang it from a door!
Oh I can't wait to get burn my fingers with that hot glue gun!
Wish me luck!
I'll be sure to show you the finished product!
xoxo

I've only just bought myself a glue gun, which I used to make Vintage Scrabble magnets (tutorial on Modern Country Style). Once you pick up that glue gun, there's no putting it down. It's addictive! You'll be gluing everything in site. :-)

OH I can't wait to see yours! My stupid brother in law, through a gorgeous one my sister made, away while she was at work because he hated it. Obviously, she was not very happy! It was lovely and looked like the one with the pic of the little boy silhouette. ;-(

I started one yesterday and I'm almost halfway. Had to stop due to the blister on my finger. It's looking really cool though!

Hi Melaine ~ I am so honored that you like my wreaths! I made my first one a few years ago after hearing about a "rolled paper wreath" in Pottery Barn. Try as I might, I could not find that particular catalog to see the actual item, so I made up my own design. The others you featured are very pretty and just as easy to make, I'd say. I don't use a glue gun (I always make a mess with one and end up with blistered fingers). It takes a little longer to dry, but Alene's Tacky Glue works great! If anyone has Stampington's 2nd issue of GreenCraft, my (condensed and edited by the mag) instructions are in there. Let me know if I can help. :)
