~fishtail cottage~

My friend Tracie, who blogs at Fishtail Cottage,
recently let me in her home to take some photos.
Her home is absolutely gorgeous.
Tracie is an avid gardener,
so I can't wait to go back in the Spring to take some photos of her gardens.
When you first walk in her home, the office is to the left, and the guest bedroom is to the right.

Although her home is very white and frilly, the use of wood and warm colors on the walls makes it not so feminine~it's just the right mix.

OFFICE:

She has 3 adorable pups too :)

GUEST BEDROOM:

This is by far my favorite room!
That iron bed, the white linens, the grey paint!

GREAT ROOM:

This room was recently remodeled.
You can read about it here.
Again, I love the mix of wood with the linen slip covered sofas and cream walls.
Frames by me :)

KITCHEN:

I didn't really get a good overall shot, but again, lots of wood.

DINING ROOM:

Tracie has 6 kids, so this dining table is huge!
Notice the birds in the back. She has several bird cages with birds around the house.

MASTER BEDROOM SITTING AREA:

MASTER BEDROOM:

 Love, love, love, love, love

BONUS ROOM:

This room recently got a makeover as well.
You can read more about that here.

 Sign by me.

CHICKEN COOP:

 Picture this in the Spring/Summer!

Thank you Tracie for letting us tour your beautiful home!

You looked so cute in both these pictures, I couldn't choose just one!

Be sure to visit her at Fishtail Cottage!
xoxo

Tracie has done a beautiful job on her home! The iron bed frame is perfect with the white linens and grey walls. I agree~ the woods really balance the soft ruffles .. gorgeous kitchen. Thanks for sharing ladies!

Her home is beautiful! Hard to imagine that kids live there. :)

I love all the light fabrics and unique decorative items. Making a note to myself to find corbels.

Beautiful home and beautiful owner.

I marvel mostly at how you can raise six kids in that showcase home with all of the white, and yet it's spotless.

Just how?

:)
