~the difference a year can make~{our kitchen}

I was going through some old photos of our house this time last year.
I came across these ones of our kitchen and I am cringing.

The funny thing is, I thought it looked so good!

The photos on the left are from September 2013 and the ones on the right are current.
I have had a lot of questions about how the marble is holding up and if I still like it.
Yes!
I have not had any issues with it~love, love, love it.

Makes me want to go re-do another room.

xoxo

I loved your kitchen before and I love it after! Both are beautiful in their own way. I'm starting to figure out that the brighter whites and gray instead of beige really freshens up a space though. Your style is impeccable. :)

Either way your kitchen is perfect!! I do love how bright and refreshing it is now, but I also love the cozy warm feeling it had before... My absolute favorite is that little baking nook!! I'll take it either way!! Before & after!!

I loved your kitchen before! Especially the baking nook. I'm more of a warm glow in a room kinda girl. But, I do like that you painted your door black and the house numbers on it. Would enjoy seeing more of your kitchen now!

i can't imagine you'd think your former kitchen wasn't as beautiful as your newly done one...i've always loved that kitchen and in fact have used it as my inspiration in my own kitchen....your new kitchen is a lighter palette but your "old" was was gorgeous too...but then i love everything you do!

Can't wait to redo my kitchen someday! My favorite part of yours is your baking nook with that gorgeous paper and wood shelves. But all of it is great!

It looks great! I would be curious to see if you post this similar post in 5 years. I look back at one of our old kitchens that I was amazingly proud of and thought it would never go out of style and there's so much I would change now!
